Littlefield is proud to present Generous Laughs 2022: An ACLU of Mississippi Benefit Show, returning for its third installment on Tuesday, March 1st at 8:00 PM! Having highlighted worthwhile organizations like The Pride Fund to End Gun Violence and RAICES in its previous iterations, this year’s Generous Laughs will benefit the ACLU of Mississippi, a crucial nonprofit dedicated to promoting, defending, and extending civil rights and civil liberties to every Mississippian. Y’all means all!

Tune in for a tale of an ancient evil unearthed in Manchuria and wreaking havoc on a snow-swept Trans-Siberian train ride, starring horror icons Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Join your favorite neighborhood bartenders, comedian George Gordon (“Your Good Friend”) and writer David Kleinman (“On the Way North”), for a weekly workshop of words where “knowing your roles” means finding unexpected connections across all your favorite mixed media from film and television to music, literature, sports, and beyond! Sit down with special guests like musician and Jawbreaker frontman Blake Schwarzenbach, celebrated comedian Josh Gondelman, and “Eye of the Majestic Creature” series creator and cartoonist Leslie Stein for pop culture party games and barstool banter, bringing you the contextualization that’s sweeping the nation!

Everyone's favorite former vice president and environmental crusader is now a late night talk show host, and he's taking no prisoners in this riotous breakdown of the current state of climate change. AN INCONVENIENT TALK SHOW brings together the world’s hottest comedians (Comedy Central, SNL, UCB, etc) and climate experts (NASA, VICE, NYU, Smithsonian, etc) to tackle the globe's hottest problem. 

 

Climate Justice is Racial Justice, and addressing the global crisis begins with dismantling the racist policies that inflict the worst impacts of climate change on people of color. On Friday, July 24th, CLIMATE TOWN presents An Inconvenient Livestream CLIMATE JUSTICE, welcoming climate scientists, activists, and a dream team of comics to better understand the relationship between climate change and racism. Friday’s broadcast features special guest Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson (TIME Magazine, How to Save a Planet, All We Can Save), marine biologist, author, activist and founder of the Ocean Collectiv and Urban Ocean Lab. This event will also feature special guest Sonal Jessel, MPH, Policy & Advocacy Coordinator with We Act for Environmental Justice, an incredible organization combating environmental racism and building healthy communities for people of color since 1988. Admittance to this online event is free, but audience members will have the opportunity to donate towards We Act for Environmental Justice throughout the broadcast.


Alongside creator Rollie Williams (Columbia University) and collaborator Mamadou N’Diaye (Sundance Makers Lab), audiences will be treated to a colorful cast of comedians including Mark Vigeant (Comedy Central), Tristan Griffin (Just For Laughs), Monique Moses (Astronomy Club on Netflix), Gianmarco Soresi (Caroline’s on Broadway), Taylor Ortega (Just For Laughs), and Asher Perlman (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert). GENEROUS LAUGHS 2020: A RAICES BENEFIT SHOW returns to the littlefield stage on Wednesday January 15th, two years after its first iteration in 2018 benefitting the Pride Fund to End Gun Violence. This year’s event will benefit RAICES, an incredible non-profit defending the rights of immigrants and refugees while empowering individuals, families, and communities through advocacy, education, and legal services.

Mary Bess spent the Fall of 2016 performing with some of the best improvisers in Brooklyn Sunday nights at the Annoyance Theater NY!  GOONS is a sports themed improvisational show, where two teams compete in fifteen minute sets for the audience's vote. The show is hosted by a referee, whistle and all, who keeps the match rolling as the captains are introduced, pick their teams, and lead them into battle!  Directed by Chicago and New York City seasoned performer Jed Resnick, Goons is a real winner!  See the press Here!
